The nkife is of excellent quality, outstanding hand forged blade, excellent handle construction. The top edge is only shap half teh way. I'm unsure of the age but this could be easily be from the late 1800's.
Great piece. Blade 1/4 thick, 7 1/2 long, very sharp. Handle wood scales. Fittings brass guard, bolsters, butt and rivets. Overall length 11 3/4. Condition very-fine/used, shows general use but no abuse, knife is solid and tight, blade has some minor carbon spotting and one small area with some light pitting. Grading scale poor, good, very-good, fine, very-fine, excellent, mint (i rarely grade anything as mint). We would like payment to eb made via paypal 7days. hSipping is $5.95 via usps priority mail. Insurance is $1.70 for $50, $2.70 for $100 and $1.00 for each $100 after.
